My work from Indonesia has been selected to be part of a special slideshow to be shown at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.

The slideshow night event is held in conjunction with the exhibition No Strangers: Ancient Wisdom in a Modern World, on show at the Annenberg Space for Photography from 17 November 2012 through 24 February 2013. The exhibition features work by world renowned photographers such as Carol Beckwith & Angela Fisher, Wade Davis, Chris Johns, Lynn Johnson, Steve McCurry, Randy Olson, Chris Rainier, Hamid Sardar, Timothy Allen, Caroline Bennett, James P. Blair, Edward Burtynsky, David Hiser, Aaron Huey, Thomas Kelly, Mauricio Lima, William Fernando Martinez, James Stanfield, Brent Stirton, Amy Toensing, Jeroen Toirkens, A Yin and Gordon Wiltsie, and is curated by anthropologist/author/photographer Wade Davis.

The slideshow night highlights the work of photographers who have been exploring the cultural genre of indigenous people around the world. In my slideshow, I’m showcasing selected photographs from two series, Staged Life and Saparan (click the photos below to see more photographs of each series). The slideshow night will be held on 8 February 2013 from 18.30 to 20.30 at the Annenberg Space for Photography.
